About the project
iRemember began with a simple, heartfelt curiosity: What makes a good life? Who are the special people in our lives? What shaped them? Through understanding the lives of those who came before us - those who raised us - we come to understand ourselves more deeply.
The idea first sparked when our founder, Tania Rose, read The Top Five Regrets of the Dying. Moved by the stories of connection with elders, Tania realised how little she knew about her own parents' lives. This inspired her to start interviewing families and designing memoir books manually.
But the manual process was costly and slow. Tania wondered: Could this be done differently? During a meditation, the vision for iRemember came to her - an app where people could record stories, upload photos, and receive a priceless memoir delivered to their home.
Now, together with Vince Leat and Tobias Abdon, iRemember is being built to make capturing life stories easy, intuitive, and shareable for everyone.
